The Germany Group of Germany announced on Friday that it would resume flights from Tel Aviv on 23 June after suspending operations earlier last month due to the ongoing regional conflict.
The decision marks a cautious return in the region, Lufthansa confirmed that it would gradually be slowly in its airline network. The affected carrier includes Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss, Brussels Airlines, Euroies, ITA Airways and Lufthansa cargo.
According to the official statement, “For operational reasons, individual airlines will gradually resume services,” indicate a phased approach based on logistics, security assessment and regional development.
Lufthansa suspended Tel Aviv flights as a precautionary measure amidst increasing tension in the region. The decision to resume comes in the form of monitoring airlines and passengers equally.
