Taqwa Wadah Al Hanai: the public education governance scholar working as an Assoc. Professor at NYU Abu Dhabi, heading the al Kuttab Center and the National Academy for Proficient Teaching.
Her appointment to the council reflects not only the honorees’ individual achievements but also the strategies via which UAE intends to empower women and leaders in accomplishing global discourse in sustainability, equity, innovation, and other crucial areas of concern.
The Global Young Leaders Council selects these women together with other transformative leaders as UAE settles its foothold on further transformative discussions and thought across the globe. The council unites unprecedented thinkers from every corner of the world under 40 who are actualizing impactful changes with bold visions.
