Three Trailblazing Emirati Women Named to World Economic Forum’s Global Young Leaders Council 2025

Appreciating the UAE’s profound impact across the world and the region’s advancement focused on sustainable initiatives, the World Economic Forum has invited the UAE’s three eminent young female pioneers to take part in the Emirati Women’s Global Leadership Council 2025.

Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei: the Magic of Community Empowerment, an Emerging Social Innovator.

Meera Sultan Al Suwaidi: Fadila Wali Al Qasimi’s Deputy for Al Fannan Works, Cultural Diplomacy Policy.

Taqwa Wadah Al Hanai: the public education governance scholar working as an Assoc. Professor at NYU Abu Dhabi, heading the al Kuttab Center and the National Academy for Proficient Teaching.

Her appointment to the council reflects not only the honorees’ individual achievements but also the strategies via which UAE intends to empower women and leaders in accomplishing global discourse in sustainability, equity, innovation, and other crucial areas of concern.

The Global Young Leaders Council selects these women together with other transformative leaders as UAE settles its foothold on further transformative discussions and thought across the globe.
