Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan
The Rulers of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) elected Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the president of the UAE. This decision was made by the rulers of the country’s seven sheikhdoms at a meeting held in Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi. After the demise of the former President, Khalifa bin Zayed AL Nahyan is the half-brother of sheikh khalifa bin Zayed AL Nahyan.
The United Arab Emirates observed three-day mourning with all the businesses shut across the country and performances halted in Sheikh Khalifa’s honor. The image of the late Sheikh Khalifa was shown on Electronic Billboards in Dubai and flags flew at half-mast. After the heart stroke, Sheikh Khalifa disappeared from public view in 2014 and Sheikh Mohammed had been serving the United Arab Emirates as de facto President. Under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed, the United Arab Emirates took a more military-focused approach in the region by joining Saudi Arabia. During the coronavirus pandemic, Under the rule of Sheikh Mohammed in UAE has sought to rehabilitate ties with Iran and Turkey, which have backed Islamists in the region.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed AL Nahyan pledged and promised the well-being of UAE citizens. The whole country is ruled by the president and will take on the paths of glory and honor. Just a day later the new president was announced by the rulers of The United Arab Emirates. WAM explained the vote was unanimous among the rulers of the country’s sheikhdoms.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed AL Nahyan organized a campaign that targeted Islamists in the UAE after the 2011 Arab spring that urged the West to take a harder line toward Tehran over concerns about its nuclear program. It also supports paramilitary groups throughout the region.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is popularly known as MBZ. Generally, the council of the United Arab Emirates groups the rulers of the seven emirates and also elected Sheikh Mohammed as the new president of the United Arab Emirates.
The seven kingdoms have been selecting the president since becoming an independent nation in 1971. After Khalifa’s death, Sheikh Mohammed has taken all the responsibilities and duties of the President of the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Khalifa’s death is very sad news for the whole country and observed three-day national mourning to show respect towards Sheikh Khalifa. Sheikh Mohammed always pays attention to the well-being of the citizens.
Sheikh Mohammed also arranged the funeral of the late president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed AL Nahyan and paid the last tribute. Due to the poor health of Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed had been taking responsibility for many years. Under the supervision of Sheikh Mohammed, the United Arab Emirates has put a man in space and sent a probe to Mars, and also opened its first nuclear reactor.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed AL Nahyan is the third president of the United Arab Emirates. At the age of 61, he took on the responsibilities of the president of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Abu Dhabi. He is considered the strongman leader of an authoritarian regime. The New York Times called him the most sincere and powerful man on Earth.
